Our Company:
DWLC is an established independent landscape planning, design and environmental consultancy which commenced practice in March 2009. The company is run by David Williams, a qualified chartered landscape architect with over 25 years experience, supported by a wide network of other professional associates who can provide a range of additional skills and technical services.
Our Aim:
Our aim with every project is to exceed client expectations and assist clients to plan, design and achieve commercially successful schemes and developments whilst addressing landscape, townscape and environmental issues and providing sustainable design solutions.
Our Approach:
We take pride in our consistent, proactive and streamlined approach to the provision of landscape planning, landscape design and environmental services. This approach adds value through innovative and realistic landscape design solutions. We understand the importance of listening to our client requirements, and then thoroughly analysing the landscape and environmental constraints, and the development opportunities of a site. We work positively with others to achieve the projects objectives.
Business Process Accreditations:
DWLC is working towards BSI ISO 9001 Certification. All work carried out complies with our Quality Policy (a copy of which can be provided on request). Key elements of the QMP include:
- consistent project filing
- use of timesheets
- individual project quality plans
- document referencing
- review procedures for all proposals and deliverables
- regular project audits and review of completed client feedback

Fees
DWLC offers a commercially competitive fee structure for the services offered and strives to achieve efficient and pragmatic solutions, which further minimise client expenditure.
We are able to tailor budgets to suit different scales of commissions and scope of work, either on a time-charge fee basis or fixed fee, subject to the full scope off work being agreed with the clientele the outset of the engagement.

Environmental Impact
DWLC is currently compiling an environmental policy aimed at minimising (or making positive) any impact we may have upon the environment.
In addition we aim to continually improve our performance against these objectives and changes in environmental legislation and guidance on environmental issues.
